I spend most days finding the thing that's quietly broken — a bloated pipeline, an over-permissioned IAM role, a manual step everyone's afraid to automate — and fixing it properly instead of patching around it. 6+ years architecting AWS/Azure infrastructure, embedding security into CI/CD, cutting MTTR by half. I like systems that don't need me to babysit them.

currently: relearning the basics

11 years in, 6 in DevOps — and I'm going back through networking fundamentals, Linux internals, the stuff I learned fast and never fully sat with. Not because I have to. Because I think most "senior" engineers skip this and it shows. Writing about what I find, weekly, starting this weekend.
